| The Granville Fire Company gathered this past Saturday for our annual Members Appreciation Dinner, a time set aside each year to recognize the dedication and service of our volunteers.
This year’s event was made even more special as it was held at our own Granville Fire Company Event Center. Hosting the dinner in our facility provided a great opportunity for members to come together and enjoy an evening of fellowship in a place that represents the pride of our organization.
Following dinner, our Chiefs took the opportunity to thank our members for their continued hard work and commitment. Awards and thank-you gifts were presented in recognition of the many hours our volunteers dedicate to serving the community.
One of the highlights of the evening was a meaningful dedication. Our membership voted to dedicate the 2026 Pierce Freightliner Tanker in honor of former Fire Chief Jeff Fisher. Jeff gave countless years of blood, sweat, and tears to the Granville Fire Company and the community we serve. When our new tanker arrived earlier this year, there was no question among the membership that this honor should be given to Jeff.
The Granville Fire Company is proud of the strong commitment shown by our members and remains grateful for all that they do. This annual event serves as a reminder of the dedication, tradition, and pride that continue to drive our organization forward. |
